“ I passed through Kirbyville and stopped at Jenny's in favor of something local versus a franchise. Wow, was the food amazing! I ordered the fried shrimp and mac and cheese. What I didn't know is that the fried shrimp was part of a combo including fried catfish, the fried shrimp, french fries, jalapeno hush puppies, and cole slaw, and a drink. It was a pleasant surprise, but the menu is confusing on how to order and what comes with the food, but the taste makes up for it by far. I could tell this was a local gem because it was barely 5pm on a Wednesday and there was a line of about 10 people. The service wasn't bad, but can be confusing if you aren't a local. ”
